The award-winning Chinatown Branch library on Archer Avenue and Wentworth Avenue has quickly become a community center and well-loved amenity for the growing Chinatown neighborhood. The landscape design creates a cohesive experience with the building and functional and welcoming access for pedestrians and bicyclists. The design borrowed imagery and vision from traditional and contemporary Chinese design aesthetics, including water, islands, and mountains.
