Culture

Since our founding, diversity in all its forms, including education, training, professional experience, ethnicity, and culture, has been a priority in shaping our team. Today, our staff is approximately 60% women and 50% minorities, with backgrounds and perspectives from around the world. This richness of perspective is a driving force behind our ability to engage authentically with communities and co-create landscapes that deeply resonate with the people who use them.

We are committed to continuous learning and collective progress. From championing licensure and offering a robust internal education program to advocating for equitable public spaces across the country and supporting initiatives like the Hire Ukrainian Designers initiative, we are shaping a more inclusive, resilient, and forward-looking future for landscape architecture.

Our team loves a mix of leafy classics and quirky bloomers! Favorites include pothos, monsteras, ZZ plants, and weeping figs, as well as flowering hoyas, crown of thorns, and orchid cacti

We believe that great design is built on strong relationships, both in the communities we serve and within our own team. From site visit days, team outings, and beach days to friendly competition in sports leagues, we make time to celebrate together. We value a workplace where creativity thrives, and everyone feels a sense of belonging.

Our firm culture is dynamic, fun-loving, and rooted in a shared commitment to making a positive impact. We are active within our local communities through advocacy and volunteer initiatives, reinforcing our dedication to collaboratively cultivating community.

Who we are

We prioritize design excellence, social responsibility, and a vibrant workplace culture, fostering meaningful connections within our team and the communities we design for.
