NACo Achievement Award for Stroger Emergency Entrance and Site Upgrades

We are proud to announce that the John H. Stroger Emergency Entrance and Site Upgrades project has received a 2025 NACo Achievement Award.
As part of broader improvements at the Cook County Core Hospital Stroger Campus, the redesigned entrance was crafted to be both welcoming and secure. Lush plantings now frame the vehicular and pedestrian entry, while a bermed landscape and seven large-scale artwork panels provide privacy, safety, and a vibrant first impression for patients, visitors, and staff.
