Happy National Intern Day!

We want to shout out our amazing summer interns Oluwafunmike (Moyo) Akin Jimoh, You Shiuan (Holly) Li, and Carson Croom!

A few reflections from their time this summer:

My favorite part has been coming in to see smiling faces each day! The random jokes/laughs from different corners throughout the day that make everyone feel lighter and at ease even with heavy deadlines approaching! I love how helpful the team has been, especially with answering my million questions. – Moyo

"Everyone here is so kind and generous with their time. They are always willing to share their experiences and answer even small questions, which makes me feel encouraged and more confident during my internship. After a recent site visit, we used what we learned to inform our design charrette. It was fun to imagine the park from the perspective of future visitors instead of focusing on how fancy it is. It's been a precious experience to learn through so many real projects with such a supportive team!" – Holly

"I have really enjoyed my time at Site Design Group, especially with how diverse it has been. From attending community engagement events, going on site visits, partaking in design charrettes, or working on design competitions, I have learned so much from such great people. My favorite part has been watching the design process unfold, project by project, from concepts on trace to beautiful, meaningful spaces that humans can enjoy. I have also really enjoyed the amount of iterative design work I have gotten to do with the project team, along with designing and curating planting palettes and plans." – Carson Croom

It has been an absolute pleasure working alongside them in the studio, and we are excited to see all they accomplish in the future.
