Celebrating the Opening of the New Sculpture Garden at National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts and Culture

This past Monday, we joined the National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts and Culture in celebrating the opening of its new outdoor educational programming space and sculpture garden, located in Chicago's Humboldt Park.

Anchoring the garden is El Llamado (The Call) by renowned mosaic artist Celso González, a work inspired by Taíno culture. At its center, a reimagined batey—a sacred gathering space traditionally used for ceremonies—now serves as a place for learning, connection, and celebration.

We are proud to have partnered with Wheeler Kearns Architects, EVA Design and Engineering LLC, Advance Consulting Group, and Blackwood Group LLC to help bring this vision to life.
