Melissa Hohensee is a Field Horticultural Manager at Site Design Group, contributing to both the Horticultural and Field Teams. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture with a minor in Natural Resource Conservation from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Previously, Melissa worked as a Project Manager and Landscape Designer with a design-build landscape contractor, where she gained valuable hands-on experience in both design and implementation.

Growing up traveling around the United States. sparked a love of National Parks, native plants, and creating spaces people enjoy using. Outside of work, Melissa is often outdoors, spending quality time with her husband and two children, and pursuing her passions for hiking, gardening, and staying active in nature.
