At Site Design Group, Derek Neang is a Technical Associate. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from The Ohio State University, where he also served as a Staff Sergeant in the Ohio National Guard, working as a KC-135 aircraft mechanic. 

Derek is passionate about designing spaces that foster social and economic equity within communities, using design as a tool for positive change and inclusivity.

Outside of work, Derek is a Judo green belt and Muay Thai practitioner. He also enjoys philosophy, powerlifting, film, and photography. Derek is based in Columbus, Ohio.
