Site Walk Day Recap

Last week, our office held its annual Site Walk Day, visiting a series of recent projects to learn directly from the teams who brought them to life. Project managers and staff shared insights and stories behind each design, from the vibrant public space of the Cloud Gate Grainger Plaza gardens at Millennium Park, to the thoughtful planning of the University of Chicago Campus South Walk, the serene Osaka Garden, and the history-rich National Public Housing Museum.

The day offered valuable behind-the-scenes perspectives, inspiring learning, and fostering a deeper understanding of the design and planning processes that shape meaningful public spaces.
