It was a beautiful day at Myra Bradwell Elementary School as we celebrated the opening of its new Space to Grow schoolyard. This transformed outdoor space provides students with a safe, vibrant environment to learn, play, and connect with nature.

A big thank you to our outstanding partners at Chicago Public Schools, Openlands, Healthy Schools Campaign, the Chicago Department of Water Management, and the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, as well as our dedicated consultant team – Terra Engineering, TEM Environmental, and Advance Consulting Group International – for helping bring this project to life.
