At the University of Chicago’s Keller Center – Harris School of Public Policy, architecture and landscape worked together to breathe new life into a historical building that serves as a case study in rigorous sustainable rehabilitation. The design tore down barriers to the community, encouraging passage into and through the site, and creating an inviting and accessible campus experience for all. The transformational design of the new Keller Center integrates policy-inspired solutions to better connect with the community and serves as an exemplar in comprehensive sustainable design with LEED Platinum and Living Building Challenge, Petal certifications.
