Camp Wandawega is a historic camp located on Wandawega Lake in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Originally established in 1925, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The property has historically been used for a wide range of purposes, including a speakeasy, church retreat center, and kid’s camp. Today, it functions as a “no frills, back-to-basics establishment” that is rented for corporate events, weddings, family gatherings, workshops, and other private rentals through a collection of vintage cabins, cottages, a dorm-style bunkhouse, and camping facilities.
In 2018, site visited Camp Wandawega for an all-staff retreat and partake in a group project to develop a forward-thinking Master Plan vision that will help guide the future evolution of the camp and is catered to the Camp’s sense of place and identity.
