Michelle M. Inouye, RLA
As the Senior Project Manager at Site Design Group, Ltd., Michelle M. Inouye’s exceptional work has included the award-winning projects at the Lakeshore East development in Chicago’s new lakefront neighborhood, Coliseum Park in Chicago’s South Loop neighborhood and the Grant Park Framework Plan.
An active member of the Illinois Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects, Women in Planning & Development and the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Board, Michelle has contributed to the growth of the firm since joining in 1998.
Her numerous Chicago projects have made a clear impact on the fabric of the city, including athletic fields at Hanson Park and the Midway Plaisance at the University of Chicago, campus and park planning at the Armour School Campus Park, Skinner Park and Stearns Quarry, streetscape and urban design projects at Logan Square and Wicker Park, multi-family developments at the CHA Bridgeport Homes, Interfaith SRO and High Prairie Apartments, and most recently, the Exhibition Terraces at the celebrated Millennium Park.
Michelle attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana for a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. She is a Registered Landscape Architect in the State of Illinois and Indiana and continues to pursue her interests in photography, music and where all the cool stuff is in the city (and other places).
