As one of the first series of Chicago Housing Authority’s Senior Site renovation projects, the careful site and landscape design serves to engage with the residents while responding to the surrounding neighborhood. The location of the project in the heart of Chicago’s elite DePaul neighborhood has increased the property’s presence.
Enhanced landscaped entries, beautiful and serene seating areas, a residents garden and ambient lighting creates a setting for the senior residents that encourages a sense of pride.
