The development of this simple, yet dynamic public space has energized the community in their redevelopment process.
Stimulated by a mixture of deteriorating buildings and newly constructed social service programs, this Chicago west side school is dramatically enhanced by the open green topography, tree-lined edges and new playground facilities. Children of all ages are delighted with the colorful playground surfacing, challenging equipment and defined boundaries of the site.
