This Chicago City College is located in a largely industrial district on Chicago’s southwest side. Developing technical, computer and professional skills for its students, this urban campus consists of festive paving patterns, a lush and organized landscape, and carefully designed gathering spaces.
Several courtyards as well as a flowing campus street front identifies this facility as a productive learning facility. The dense and meticulous landscape emphasizes a clean and easily maintained planting palette, carefully defining entrance points and boundaries of the site.
